It is only through the reflection of light that the universe comes into being. On Earth it is the fiery sun that seems like the major cause of light, without it we would be in the darkness of vast space. But it is through our retina in the eye that the light or fire is perceived but the retina is nothing if not our brain transforms the light to information and yet the brain isn't our perceiving ability, the brain is merely a tool. Consciousness is the perceiving entity and consciousness itself in many traditions are described as light or fire.

What would the universe be without fire? Would the universe be at all be perceivable without fire?
