A lighthouse is a beacon of light for you not to crash on the shore. It also tells you something about proximity and placement. If you loose your way it is there as a gentle reminder of shore. But it is also a warning to thread gentle and watch your step.

For me my lighthouse is my heart, it guides me, leads me, beckons me, warns me and it asks me to be aware.

It might be a rocky road and it might always lead you on to your next destination, but a lighthouse serves as a wonderful companion too. And just as with the lighthouse the heart when you loose sight of it, it comes back round to light up again. Maybe learning to be attentive to it and trust it, is the way.
