This Monday morning take an aural hike in one of my favorite places on Earth- Hoh Rain Forest! Hoh is an absolute abundance of wild old ancestral trees and it's unique temperate rain forest climate makes it one of the most alive places I have ever experienced. Truer ancient forest is harder to come upon today. This place leaves no visitor unmarked and this recording is almost like being there. It is made by the exceptional soundtracker and acoustic ecologist Gordon Hempton. Enjoy!
